5-Minute Liquid Gold Sauce

Yields: 4 Servings
1/2 cup cooked chickpeas, drained and rinsed
1/3 cup water
2 cloves garlic, peeled
1/4 tsp curry powder
1/4 tsp ground cumin
1/2 tsp sea salt
1/2 tsp ground turmeric
1 tsp white sugar (or 2 tsp maple syrup)
1 dash cayenne pepper (optional)
1 Tbsp nutritional yeast (optional)
1 Tbsp citrus juice
1 Tbsp tahini
Add everything to your Ninja blender in the order listed and blend on high until creamy and smooth. If necessary, add more water until a thick, pourable sauce is achieved.
Taste and adjust as needed for spice (add curry powder), creaminess (tahini), acidity (citrus), heat (cayenne), and sweetness.
Store covered in the refrigerator up to 1 week.
