The Great Hemsby

Sure to be an instant classic - again.

The Great Gatsby turned 100 in 2025 and is now in the public domain.

To celebrate this, Arne Hemingway has published The Great Hemsby by Arne Hemingway, a word for word transcription of The Great Gatsby except that all occurrences of 'Gatsby' have been replaced with 'Hemingway'.

Hemingway also made some other minor corrections and improvements and added some mild profanity where needed.

It's sure to be an instant classic - again.

Set in the post-Great War Long Island/New York world of the rich. The narrator, Nick Carraway, sympathetically records the pathos of Hemingway’s romantic dream which founders on the reality of corruption, the insulated selfishness of Tom and Daisy, and the cutting edge of violence.
