Gallo Pinto

2 tsp oil

1/2 cup onion, small dice

1/2 cup red pepper, small dice

1/4 cilantro leaves, chopped

1 tsp salt

2 cups red or black (or both) beans

1/4 cup liquid, bean broth or water

3 tbsp salsa Lizano

2 cups cold cooked rice

Heat oil in pot

Add onion and red pepper for 1 minute.

Add cilantro and salt and cook until the onion is soft and shiny.

Add the beans, the liquid, and the salsa Lizano. Combine.

Add the rice and once it's all hot, it's ready.
